Lawyers, When Your Stressed And Thoughts Are Racing, File Them!

Attorneys, when your mind won't quit, especially at night, give it a system:
File your thoughts Into "Done", "Tomorrow", or "Someday".

If you are like me, some nights you are lying in bed and all the thoughts start racing: Did that conversation land right earlier today? Am I prepared enough for my meeting tomorrow? Am I even on the right life path anyway?

It is hard to shut off when your mind insists on running every scenario before you can sleep.

This system has helped me: File your thoughts.

When your mind won't quit, give it a place to put everything:
πŸ“ Done - it has already been handled/completed.
πŸ“ Tomorrow - I will get to this tomorrow.
πŸ“ Someday - this thought can wait for the right time.

Close your eyes and imagine placing each thought into the right folder as it comes through. You will find that once your brain knows this thought has a place, it can finally rest.
